GULABRAO PATIL HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, MIRAJ ADMISSION PROCESS
ELIGIBILITY:
  1. The Candidates may Indian National/NRI’s/Foreign Nationals. Candidates are required to produce proof in support of their nationality from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate. A valid passport will be considered as sufficient proof of nationality.
  2. A Candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination (with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects) & has appeared either MHT-CET or ASSO-CET of the same academic year. NRI’s and Foreign Nationals shall submit eligibility certificate obtained from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik
  3. However, the eligibility conditions may vary in accordance with judicial pronouncements and orders issued by appropriate authorities from time to time.
AGE: The candidate should have completed 17 year of age at the time of admission. Attested photocopies of all relevant original documents should also be submitted.

ATTENDANCE:

Those students who have attended 80% of the lectures, and clinics practical are allowed to appear for the MUHS final examination, as per rules of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

FEES FOR COURSE/COLLEGE:
A. FEE STRUCTURE: Fees structure is as per declaration of the ‘Shikshan Shulka Samiti’ and judicial pronouncements.

B. PAYMENT OF FEES:
A Candidate shall be admitted only on payment of full fees as declared by the college.

C. SCHOLARSHIPS:
Every year a small percent of economically backward (below poverty line) students are given concessions in fees by the management as a social responsibility, only after producing required Government documents. Students from this category can apply separately.

D. REFUND FEES AFTER CANCELLATION :
Candidates who have confirmed their admission may cancel the admission by submitting an application to the college and request for refund of fees. The refund of fees to candidate admitted in the college will be made after deductions as under.

CONFIRMATION OF ELIGIBILITY & GRANTING OF THE TERM:

As Per the rules, Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik shall take the decision regarding granting of the eligibility of selected candidates. The decision taken by MUHS will be final and binding on the students.

Students are provisionally admitted as per the merit list of MHT-CET and college management. After verification of all documents the MUHS shall take a final decision regarding granting of the term and eligibility of selected candidate.

ADDMISSION PROCEDURE AND AOOLICATION:

The admission process will be as per the guidelines declared by Directorate of Medical Educational and Research (DMER). 85% admission of first round will be as the merit list of NEET sent by DMER.15% NRI quota for admission and vacant seats if any after the NEET. The schedule for such an admission process will be declared on the college notice board. For such admission, application forms are available in the office of the college between 9 am to 5 pm on all working days except govt. Holidays and Sundays. Application forms duly filled in must be supported with certificates and attested copies and submitted by the date mentioned on the notice board. The schedule of further admissions will be put up on the college notice board.

SYLLABUS, SUBJECTS AND EXAMINATION:

The syllabus (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medical and Surgery) is framed by the Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi and the examinations are conducted by The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nahik.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS:
  1. Students should regular and punctual in attending classes, tutorials, practical’s, and seminars, if students are not regular, the term shall not be granted for the MUHS examination.
  2. 80% attendance for lectures and practical’s is compulsory. Failure to comply shall result in non-granting of the term.
  3. Student must wear an apron in the college campus and while working in laboratories and hospital.
  4. Smoking, drinking, alcohol and use of drugs are strictly prohibited in the premises of college.
  5. Ragging of student in any from inside or outside the college camps is strictly prohibited (As per provisions of Maharashtra Act XXXIII Known as “Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999”)
  6. Every Student shall carry Identity Card provided by the college and should submit it whenever demanded by authority.
  7. Students are expected to read all notices put up on the notice board of the college.
  8. The college will not accept any responsibility for any loss due to students’ failure to read the notices on time.
  9. Use of mobiles is strictly prohibited in the college campus. Any-one found using them in the premises will punish.
  10. Students studying, if found indulging in any antinational activities, unlawful activities or ragging in any form and contrary to the provisions of Acts and Law enforced by Government, liable to be expelled from the college by the Principal.
  11. Failure of a candidate in making full and correct statements the application form and /or suppression of any information is liable to be disqualified, even at a later date. Such a candidate will be debarred from the entire selection process and pursuing the course of students.
  12. It is responsibility of every candidate to submit proper documents. Any attempt to submit documents which are not genuine will lead to cancellation of admission of the candidate.
  13. If fees for each academic year are not paid by the given date, their examination form shall not be accepted. After completion of the course, original documents and leaving certificate will be issued to the candidates only after all dues have been paid.
  14. A student has to pay fees for the remaining course if the candidate cancels the admission after cut-off date.
